The pirates on that pirate ship were very weak; only the Captain and his two daughters seemed a bit more capable.

The pirates left behind on the Deserted Island were likely also very weak.

However, Chen Qing still asked Shu Yin to scout out the number and strength of those pirates while ensuring her own safety.

Chen Qing had no plans to rescue the children herself, as the reality of the situation didn't permit it.
