Shivering in fear, and not only from the cold, Belladonna's eyes met Valitis, who showed no empathy towards her condition.

Ethan, quickly bowed on the show. On his side, he shivered in fear, praying in his heart the Vampire Lord heard not what he spoke badly about his reputation.

"Slave..." Valitis called the boy whose reply created a frown on Belladonna's brows.

"My Lord!"

"What are you doing with my blood maid?." He asked, promoting Belladonna's angry response,

"I'm not your—"

"Forgive me My lord! I only healed her wound as she was badly injured from the rabbit trap she stepped on earlier," Ethan explained, "I'm so sorry. But honestly, I knew not she was your blood maid. Forgive this humble servant of yours."
