We heard that a purple kasaka has infiltrated the village, we went to the scene. When we reached there, we saw that many people were trying to fend it off.
Some people were injured, but thankfully no one has died.
The kasaka was a snake-like monster, its length was about 10 to 12 metres. It was fast, but the main problem was that it could throw both fire and acid from its mouth.
I had never seen anything like this.
The kasaka spat acid towards a person, he barely dodged it but mistakenly stepped on the place where the kasaka had spat previously.
His feets started melting, he was unable to move. The kasaka used fire breath on him but my father came and stopped it using a shield.
He told everyone that there is an orb behind Kasaka's head and breaking it would kill Kasaka.The kasaka started coming towards him.
"Get away from there, stupid father!" I shouted.
He could've easily got away from there, but he didn't because If he moved, the person behind him will become the prey.
The Kasaka attacked him, but my mother came between them and the kasaka swallowed her.
After that, father lost his mind. He started attacking the kasaka recklessly. Somehow he got behind the viper.
He went to break the orb, but the kasaka turned and swallowed him too.
At this moment, I lost everything. I thought of commiting suicide.
What? The viper acting weirdly, it slowed down too. The most probable answer was that father is hurting it from inside.
The kasaka only swallowed them, means they're still alive. I took a nearby sword which was half melted by the acid.
I ran towards the kasaka while it was facing the opposite direction. Almost reached, just a little more.
Just when I readied the sword to break the gem, it turned in an instant. A smile creeped on my face.
Sorry but, an experienced loner can't fall for the same trick twice!
I attacked its eyes and jumped back. Just barely dodged it. Everyone can see that I am fighting with the kasaka alone, but they didn't bothered to help me.
It let out a battle cry. By seeing it, I can tell that it got heavily injured from the inside. It fell on the ground
I can't bother to find out whether its acting or not.
I reached the orb and attacked at it, but it didn't break. I kept attacking it, it took 17 consecutive hits to break it.
Several Level up notifications popped up one by one, but I didn't care.
I quickly went to cut the cross section of the snake where I thought they were, but many peoples held me tightly.
"Don't make such a mistake girl, this Kasaka's stomach might be filled with acid. If you pierce its stomach, all the acid will come out."

I tried very hard to unheld, but I couldn't. If I could've cut its belly, my parents could have been saved.

My family, is dead. Now I had two options, I can either commit suicide at this moment and get out of this hell or I can keep living and workhard to realise my lifelong dream.
I ain't a coward, which is why I decided to live in this world, for my shield hero.
After that, one of my neighbours took me in.
Because my levels have increased a lot, my growth was happening very fastly. To increase my level even more, I used to go to the forest and do hunting every day.
