Chapter 5 Owen's Question
You Huan was thinking about the next dinosaur hunting plan when he suddenly heard footsteps and a familiar smell behind him.
He turned around and called out to Henry Wu perfunctorily as a greeting.
Dr. Wu was studying the blood samples in the laboratory when he suddenly discovered that Long was gone. Just as You Huan had expected, due to You Huan's uniqueness, he did not make the matter public, but instead followed the tracker light on his watch to find this place.
He saw the clean-gnawed skeleton of the Ornithomimus on the ground and immediately knew what had happened.
You Huan flicked his tail, and the ID card drew an arc in the air and fell into Dr. Wu's hands.
Dr. Wu has become a little numb to the wave after wave of surprises brought by You Huan.
In the laboratory, he demonstrated how to open the door in front of You Huan, but he didn't expect that this dragon was smart enough to steal his card and sneak out of the laboratory.
You Huan glanced at the panel and found that [Collection Task 1] was still not completed. It seemed that the requirements of this task were very high.
Henry Wu looked at You Huan, who seemed eager to try and find a dragon to bite, and suddenly thought of a dragon. He said to him, "I'll take you to meet one of your creators."
Dozens of minutes later, You Huan jumped out of the back seat of the car and watched in amazement as Dr. Wu arrived near the Velociraptor training base. He said to a black staff member in a calm manner, "I want to see Irving."
He realized another difference between this world of the heavens and the movies.
Because Dr. Wu wanted to create his own Indominus Raptor, he thought of letting Blue, a naturally extremely intelligent velociraptor, as a genetic contributor, and thus had an intersection with Blue's trainer Owen outside the plot.
Soon, Owen, the famous velociraptor trainer from Jurassic Park, walked out of the base and noticed You Huan behind Dr. Wu. He was shocked: "What kind of dragon is this? Why is she standing on the road like this?!"
"It's 'he', not 'she'." Dr. Wu corrected first.
All the dragons in Jurassic Park were female, until this batch of Tyrannosaurus Rex and Indominus Raptor, the doctor created two male individuals.
Then he said: "This is where Blue's genes went. I call him 'Indominus Raptor'."
Owen frowned and scolded, "Doctor, you are a fucking lunatic! He doesn't look like a docile type, and you're just going to leave him out there like that?!"
Before Henry Wu could say anything, a dark shadow flashed before Owen's eyes, and the black and gold dragon known as the "Indomitable Raptor" ran in front of him like a phantom.
You Huan walked around Owen, who subconsciously made a gesture to appease the velociraptor.
This guy really looks almost exactly like the actor in the movie.
Is that you, Star-Lord?
(Note in case you don't understand: the actor who plays Owen in the movie is the same person who plays Star-Lord in Marvel.)
Seeing Owen trying to reach out to comfort him, You Huan simply flicked his tail, pushed his hand away, and walked straight towards the gate of the Velociraptor training base.
Dr. Wu followed him and said as he walked, "He is very smart, smarter than Xiaolan, and he doesn't have any aggressiveness like a wild animal."
Owen chuckled and said, "When you asked me for Xiaolan's blood at the beginning, I didn't know you wanted to create a hybrid genetic monster."
But seeing You Huan's unusual behavior and calm and lively eyes, he thought about it and decided to open the door of the base and walk in with Yilong.
The moment You Huan entered the base, a velociraptor with blue stripes on its body ran over quickly with a bird-like and dragon-like cry.
Two dragons, one blue and one black, were standing one meter apart, staring at each other silently.
You Huan looked at the velociraptor Xiaolan, and found that he was just like in the movies, with a slender body and a lively expression.
In "Jurassic World 1", Blue's intelligence is second only to the Indominus Rex. Since childhood, she has shown a series of characteristics of highly intelligent creatures such as empathy. Her status in the movie is quite special and she is jokingly called the "heroine".
Precisely because of such a smart gene provider, Dr. Wu believes it is not impossible for You Huan to exhibit near-human IQ.
While looking at each other, Xiao Lan called out to You Huan a few more times. With his genetic talent, You Huan was able to understand the language of velociraptors. It was saying words like "you", "like me", and "Do you need help?"
You Huan also called out to it, meaning I'm fine and I don't need help.
During the brief exchange between the two dragons, You Huan heard Owen and Henry Wu bragging and chatting behind him.
Dr. Wu said proudly, "As its gene provider and trainer, I hope you can keep it a secret. According to my test, his intelligence is no less than that of a seven-year-old child. He even stole my card and sneaked out of the base to hunt an Ornithomimus."
He had dealt with Owen a lot for Blue's genes, and knew that he was a reliable person who loved dinosaurs. And without Owen's permission, he couldn't get Blue's genes and create such a smart dinosaur.
He believed that Owen would not spread the news about You Huan. Apparently, because of the changes in settings brought about by You Huan, the two of them had a deep friendship.
Owen responded by crossing his arms and questioning, "Really? It's not even as big as Little Blue, and it's already learned to hunt dinosaurs?"

Seeing the task prompt, You Huan turned around abruptly and roared at Owen.
As if influenced by him, Xiao Lan tilted his head and roared as well.
Owen was startled and stretched out his hands, "Hey! What do you two want to do?"
You Huan made a motion of biting the air.
Owen actually understood and raised his eyebrows, this time he was really surprised: "Wait, you mean... you want to show me your hunting skills?"
He received a satisfied cry in response.
"Oh my god…"
Ten minutes later, Owen, Henry Wu and You Huan appeared in a dinosaur base that had never been shown in the movie.
The dinosaurs here are all failures. Some of them suffer from genetic defects and cannot live long, while others have extremely violent and confused minds and are simply unable to lead a normal life.
You Huan looked around. On the left was a dragon with a genetic defect and a serious illness, and on the right was a dragon with a violent and confused mind.
It can be said that these dinosaurs are not real dinosaurs, and keeping them alive only increases their suffering.
Under Owen's questioning gaze, he got on all fours, like an elegant, swift and deadly cat, and rushed straight to the feeding area on the right. He jumped over the fence in a few steps and landed in the feeding area!

Dr. Wu said calmly: "I believe in the excellence of my creation."
Owen opened his mouth to say something, but before he could utter a word, he heard a still immature dragon roar coming from the right front!

Owen and Dr. Wu stood outside the breeding area. As the dragon roared, they suddenly felt a heavy sense of fear in their hearts, and their bodies shook subconsciously!
In the breeding area, You Huan activated the [Indominus Dragon Might] skill, and the intimidating aura from the Indominus Dragon descended immediately. The Triceratops in front of them was given a special warning and froze in its tracks.
The next moment, Owen's eyes widened. In the reflection of his eyes, a dark figure jumped out from the crazy group of dragons and leaped to the top of the fence!
The Indominus Raptor was holding a Triceratops that was larger than itself in its mouth, but it was still so swift.
The blood of the prey flowed out along his fangs that pierced into the flesh of the Triceratops, and the sharp golden dragon eyes looked down at Owen condescendingly.
I don't know if it was Owen's illusion...he actually saw teasing and mockery in a dragon's eyes?
"How could there be such a...dinosaur…" He opened his mouth and muttered.
