Lin Xiao followed the man's gaze and noticed a jade pendant at his waist, engraved with the words "Tian Xuan."
He gently removed the pendant and nodded to the man, saying, "We'll find your fellow disciples as soon as possible. Hang in there."
Sun Yigao took out all the dry rations he had, broke them into small pieces, and carefully placed them near the survivors on cloth. He also opened his water pouch and placed it beside the man.
Lin Xiao glanced at Venerable Pantu, said nothing, and left with Sun Yigao.
As they walked away, Lin Xiao asked Sun Yigao, "Do you regret it? Choosing this path?"
Sun Yigao shook his head. "I think I'm fortunate to have chosen this path."
Lin Xiao smiled, saying nothing more, and the two left the valley.
With the Heart of the Secret Realm in his possession, Lin Xiao found locating people within the secret realm incredibly easy.

The other man eyed Lin Xiao and Sun Yigao with greedy eyes. He first addressed Sun Yigao, saying, "Kid, you're what, fifteen or sixteen? Already at the seventh level of Qi Refining? You must have some secret cultivation technique or treasure, right?"
Then he turned his gaze to Lin Xiao, grinning wickedly. "A mortal? Impossible. This secret realm only allows Qi Refining cultivators to enter. You must have some treasure that hides your cultivation! Haha! The heavens are smiling upon me today, letting me run into two fat sheep!"

Sun Yigao glanced over at Lin Xiao, who seemed to be having a great time, and then looked at his own opponent.
The man was stunned by Lin Xiao's attack and quickly turned to flee, only to find himself entangled in a web of spiritual energy threads!
Sun Yigao, imitating Lin Xiao's strategy, gave his opponent no chance to react. As soon as the threads wrapped around the man, Sun Yigao cast a sleep spell.

"May I ask what brings you two here?" he inquired.
Xu Juan, standing beside him, gripped his sword tightly, his eyes wary.
Lin Xiao got straight to the point, "You two are from the Tian Xuan Sect, correct? Have you noticed that every year, a couple of your sect members enter this secret realm and never return?"
