Hazel's heart almost stopped beating when she saw Ranon was there. He was staring at her and sure enough, he knew how she came into the room. His eyes filled with judgement.
And the scariest part was he didn't even talk!
He simply stared at her and somehow Hazel felt like she was a child being caught red handed for being naughty and she was stared at to confess for her crime, for her sin that she had committed.
This was super annoying but that was how Hazel felt about this situation right now.
"Hi!" Hazel raised her hand awkwardly to greet him, because she didn't know what else she had to do or say in this situation. She should have checked her bedroom first before she climbed in.
There was no explanation for this and there was no excuse, since Ranon had seen everything and he was too smart to be fooled by a lame story anyway.
