Elion kept his eyes closed, savoring the soft sensation against his nape and the alluring scent that lingered in the air. His lungs breathed it as if they were gasping for air.
After a few moments, when he finally managed to open his eyes, breaking free from the overwhelming desire to remain still forever, his gaze met Seraphina's radiant smile. Her long silver hair cascaded gently and spread across his chest like a veil.
She gazed at him with pure happiness, her expression warm and tender as she used her lap like a soft pillow for his head.
"Sorry, did I wake you up?" She said.
Elion slowly used his hand to sit on the ground next to her before answering. "No, I just felt that good things shouldn't last forever, so I can better appreciate them."
Seraphina chuckled. "Was my pillow lap that good?"
Elion nodded, his face serious. "The best. I must also give a ten for the perfume choice."
