Bab 91: Demigod’s Battle (2)

Elion watched the battle unfolding from afar and sighed in relief. It seems they did have a contingency plan for dealing with an eight-stage beast, and their plan has just arrived—Eldoria's mage dean herself came into action.

The black dragon and Ariel locked eyes in midair, their gazes filled with intensity. 

Ariel made the first move, summoning dozens of ice spears that hovered in the air. In response, the dragon called upon its beast core, conjuring a torrent of fire snakes instead of its usual breath attack, unleashing them toward Ariel's assault.

The fire snakes and ice spears clashed mid-air, their powers evenly matched. The collision unleashed a violent burst of energy, neutralizing both attacks as a thick wave of water vapor swept through the air.

The black dragon swept through the curtain of water vapor, aiming one of its massive wings at Ariel.
