Elion sat on his bed, ready to settle in and rest for the evening, when his bracelet suddenly pulsed with a warning glow. He froze, glancing down as the soft light faded, only to look up and see the others' expressions mirroring his own. 

The beast stampede had begun!

The students assembled once more in the city lord's courtyard, their expressions a mixture of anticipation and tension. 

Professors Robert and Gerald stood at the front, waiting for all the students to arrive. The other guards and professors have already gone to the city outskirts, awaiting the impending danger.

"Good evening, students," Professor Gerald began, his voice steady and firm. "The beast stampede will reach us in less than thirty minutes. Your primary task is to stay toward the rear, dealing with any weaker beasts that slip past the front lines. Focus on maintaining order and protecting each other."
