Bab 68: Valen’s Past (2)

As Aldrian, Itherael, and Valen entered the palace, they spotted a man who bore a striking resemblance to Aldrian. 

He was preparing for battle, his armor catching the dim light of the chamber. The silver and crimson hues of the intricate design intertwined, creating a stunning yet imposing suit. A massive battle axe was strapped to his back, radiating a fierce and powerful aura.

"Aldrian, you're here," called a voice nearby. A figure rushed forward, throwing her arms around him in a tight embrace. 

Aldrian returned the hug with a smile. "Sasha. How are you?"

"I'm fine, you idiot. But how dare you stand me up?" she said, her voice wavering between relief and frustration. "And now, with this invasion..." Sasha Bloodriver, his childhood friend and fiancée, tightened her grip, the worry clear in her eyes.
