Bab 62: Damsel in Distress?

Seraphina regarded her assailants with a smile that concealed a storm of fury beneath its surface. 

Her lips curled in a way that suggested amusement, but her eyes burned with a fierce intensity. "It's one thing to believe you could deceive me; it's quite another to think you can easily subdue me…"

The two assailants gulped as Seraphina's words washed over them, the heat radiating from her growing more intense by the second. 

Recognizing the imminent danger, they instinctively summoned their auras, enveloping their bodies in a protective shield to brace against her impending onslaught.

One of the assailants swiftly drew a menacing scythe from his space ring, readying himself for combat. Meanwhile, the other attacker had already equipped a pair of reinforced knuckles, flexing his fingers in anticipation of the fight ahead.
