After the meeting concluded, George lingered in the war room, a map of New Haven and the surrounding regions spread across the table before him. He traced the route they had taken on patrol the night before, marking the location of the ritual site they'd discovered. This was the first confirmed location, but he knew it wouldn't be the last. If they were to secure New Haven, they would need to find and dismantle every site like it.

Raven entered quietly, her presence grounding him. She placed a hand on his shoulder, her expression serious. "You're planning an expedition, aren't you?"

George nodded, exhaling as he turned to face her. "We have no choice. If we leave these sites active, it's only a matter of time before they overrun us. But we can't just send people out blindly. We need to approach this with precision, one site at a time."
