Elara and Helena returned just as Gerald was giving his closing remarks to Amara. Elara caught the faintest hint of a smile on Amara's face as her father patted her shoulder. Something about the moment made Elara's heart warm this was a rare side of Amara that she seldom saw, and it made her all the more fascinated by her.

"Everything go well?" Amara asked, smirking as Elara and Helena rejoined them.

"Oh, better than well," Helena said with a conspiratorial wink, casting a look that promised future teasing. Elara couldn't quite hide her own amused smile, though the conversation with Helena had left her with more questions than answers about her… "changed" Amara.
