Elara leaned against the bed, still trying to process the unexpected arrival of Amara. Sharing a room was one thing, but now they were confined together in a luxury hotel room? Her heart raced at the thought. The last few hours without Amara had felt like an eternity, and seeing her walk through that door in nothing but a towel had sent her heart fluttering in ways she wasn't quite prepared for.

As the sound of the shower started up again, Elara plopped down onto the plush bed, her mind whirring. She'd only been able to catch snippets of their roles as Isolde and Rowan, but now, with the tension of being in close quarters, it felt like a live-action rendition of all her favorite romantic scenes.
