Bab 101: Amara Public Relations Nightmare

Amara had barely stepped foot into the office when Marisol's phone went off with that annoyingly cheerful ringtone one that somehow clashed with the stormy look on her face. Amara, already mentally drained after surviving the morning, shot her an annoyed glance. Seriously? We haven't even had coffee yet.

Marisol's eyes widened as she glanced at the screen, and she answered the call with a hurried, "Yes, Marisol speaking." Her face twisted into a mix of confusion and panic almost instantly. "Wait, what? You're serious? Oh no…"

Amara, ever the magnet for disasters, immediately perked up. "What now?" she muttered under her breath, casting a wary look toward Elara, who looked amused as usual.

Marisol hung up the phone and started frantically tapping through her apps, looking like a woman on the edge of a breakdown. Amara watched her with growing dread.

"What's going on?" Amara asked, crossing her arms.
