Amara watched as Elara chuckled, shaking her head in disbelief. "Unbelievable," she muttered, clearly amused by Amara's endless display of awkwardness.

Amara could feel her face heating up. Great. I've been in this room for all of ten minutes, and she already thinks I'm an idiot.

Not that she could blame Elara. After all, the wig, sunglasses, and sunhat ensemble wasn't exactly screaming "competent professional." She had hoped it would make her less recognizable, but now it felt like she'd just been parading around in a circus costume. And Elara? Elara knew exactly who she was. Of course she does.
