Elara couldn't believe her luck or rather, her misfortune. Sharing a room with her? Out of everyone, they had to assign her the one person she'd been trying to avoid since the start of this whole mess. She shot a sideways glance at Amara, who was perched awkwardly on the edge of the bed, still in that ridiculous oversized sunhat, sunglasses, and what had to be the worst wig Elara had ever seen.

Honestly, it was like watching a child playing dress-up in their grandmother's attic. Did Amara really think she was fooling anyone with that getup?

Suppressing a groan, Elara continued to unpack her things, throwing a few side glances at Amara, waiting to see if she'd drop the act now that the cameras were off. The woman was still fiddling with her suitcase like it was some kind of alien technology. Has she never used a zipper before?
