After the trial ended, Beta Jaxon, together with a laughing Rosa, came to us.

“Ari!” Rosa exclaimed as she laughed. “Everyone thought you put Max under a spell since he was so supportive and biased toward you!”

I laughed at the absurd idea and said, “If that is the case, then I should act even crazier and let them see how Max will keep supporting me no matter what!”

Max hugged me tightly from behind and growled playfully into my ear, “You’ll act even crazier to show them I am really under your spell?”

I laughed again and swatted his hand playfully, “You said you trust my judgment unconditionally!”

He chuckled and kissed my temple. “That I do, my Luna. That I do…”

“Awww… You guys are so sweet together,” Rosa teased us.

“Rosa, I have a reason to ask you to sit on today’s trial,” I began saying, wanting to let her know of the decision Max and I had made regarding her.
