Fu Hongyi naturally dared not underestimate Assistant Lin. 

He immediately donned a more amiable expression, smiling ingratiatingly, "Assistant Lin." 

"Mm," Assistant Lin replied curtly, "Follow me." 

"Of course." 

Assistant Lin led Fu Hongyi to the reception room. He settled onto the sofa and inquired, "Now, what collaboration do you propose?" 

Fu Hongyi presented the contract before Assistant Lin, stating, "This is a project from our Fu Group, a result of a year's effort from our company. Assistant Lin, do take a look; isn't it remarkable?" 

"Are you seeking our company's investment quota?" Assistant Lin asked. 

"Yes, yes," Fu Hongyi conceded without hesitation. 

Their Fu Group desired to secure an investment from the HD Group. This project could elevate the Fu Group to new heights, but it required substantial funding—seldom could a company in H City present such a large sum all at once.
