Bab 102: Secrets of the Dragon's Lair

The party finally reached the core of the Sabnock Plains, a place steeped in mystique and danger. It was here that the mighty beast Sabnock once held dominion, guarding the heart of the plains—a point of magic release known as a "Dragon's Vein."

Legends claimed that cities built above Dragon's Veins flourished, with the veins not only nourishing plant life but spawning powerful creatures. Wars had even broken out over territories with Dragon's Veins, with nobles clashing to secure this strange natural phenomenon.

Leading the expedition was Rest Clover, the youthful but battle-hardened Earl who had vanquished Sabnock himself. Beside him were his old comrade Wilhelm Ruebesse, and their friend Yuri Cattleya, the wayward daughter of a noble family. Joining them were three others: the formidable student leader Aisis Calvert, and two members appointed for additional support—a stoic priest, Jacks Rayl, and Oliver Argyl, a royal knight with a stern demeanor.
