Boarding the train Loki found himself a spot in one of the carriages, once again next to the prefects' compartment.
Sitting down after levitating his trunk away onto the upper shelf, Loki relaxed while creating a soft gust of wind to cool himself because of the excessive humidity.
Eventually, the train started with no one else entering Loki's compartment, leaving him some silent time to read a book Nicholas had lent to him.
'Ritualistic Genesis- A Way to Appease Gods.'
He'd given him this book to help him out on his quest to create a global world bank backed by True Gods for the wizarding world.
Nicholas wrote it himself, and this was the only copy around, which directly made it extremely precious.
As Loki read through the book though, his thoughts floated around.
'What items are there for Rowena Ravenclaw or Helga Hufflepuff that could be sacrificed to awaken them?'
'Should I first focus on identifying who the next visible person in those crystals is? Once I figure that out, it'll allow me to empower a more focused effort for their relics.'
'I have a suspicion or rather a hunch that dealing with the 'God' whose physical body is visible will be easier than those with their astral projections only.'
Loki had asked Nicholas about the founders but he said he didn't know much about them or rather he knew less than Loki about them since he didn't even know they were True Gods.
Prenelle had helpfully given Loki a list of their achievements in magic and otherwise along with things they were known for throughout history but none of them indicated an item of value associated with them, except Godric Gryffindor who was consistently recorded carrying an exquisite sword.
'Was the sword that Harry pulled out in the Chamber of Secrets the Gryffindor Sword?'
'I remember Sunny telling me he could feel powerful spirituality radiating from it even in the dream, so that does confirm that it is a Beyonder item of some sort. But since Gryffindor's physical body isn't in the crystals, I think I'll get the sword from the hat once I know I don't have to do anything different.'
The train soon stopped and Loki stepped out, with a short greeting for Hagrid, he left the scene and entered an empty carriage whose carriage horses were a pair of Theastrals.
Stroking the necks of the death horses, Loki casually activated his spirit vision and began to scan the animals in front of him.
'Huh…they do have a little bit of spirituality in them, just like the unicorns. Do they supply ingredients for the death pathway?'
Loki couldn't complete his train of thought since it was interrupted when a white-haired girl with her eyebrows frozen in a perpetual surprise stepped in and made herself home.
"Luna…" Loki mumbled.
Luna looked over but before she could speak Harry stepped into the carriage, after which Ron followed and then Hermione and Ginny.
There was an uncomfortable silence in the carriage but Luna broke it by speaking, "Ginny. How are you doing?"
"I am fine. Are you alright Luna?" Ginny asked with a smile but everyone could see she was just trying to be polite.
"I am fantastic. No Nargles have attacked me this summer. I believe I have found a pacifist solution to keeping them away." Luna said showing off her butterbeer cork necklace.
Everyone instantly became confused about what she was referring to and the conversation fell silent with Hermione frowning and thinking hard if she'd ever read anything about Nargles.
Eventually, the silence, interrupted by the rhythmic trotting of the Theastrals outside became a little unbearable so Ron made some conversation with Harry.
"Where did you go for the last week then? I heard you and Sirius met Dumbledore?"
"Ehh…it wasn't anything grand, just a few papers to clear about him adopting me as my Godfather."
"Did you do anything fun? I heard from Sirius he had a surprise for you!"
"Well…*whisper* I'll tell you about it later. Sirius asked me not to mention it casually. *whisper*"
"Oh.." Ron fell silent, a little depressed.
Their conversation prompted Loki to frown a little.
'Oh!'
Loki activated his spirit vision and confirmed his suspicion.
'He's become a Beyonder. However, I don't know which pathway he's chosen. Did Sirius give him the Darkness pathway potion?'
'I sure hope not. I don't want there to be an article in my newspaper that says, 'Harry Potter! Bringer of Light and Singer of Poems!' It'd become a joke.'
'Or I could write, 'Harry Potter!? The Next Dark Lord?''
'Though the wand holster he's got, that's something new. I hadn't seen him wear one before. Did Sirius gift it to him or is it related to his 'acting' of whatever pathway he's chosen?'
'But, his spirituality seems much deeper than a simple Sequence 9 for some reason…it's almost as rich as mine…'
But as Loki's eyes glossed over Harry he suddenly froze.
Apart from the several runes that floated around the boy's spirit body indicating the several abilities Loki could steal like his ability to walk and breathe, Loki spotted something hidden.
A rune that looked like a dragon.
'He's a spectator?'
'No that's not it. If he was the rune wouldn't be so well hidden among his other normal skills. That ability is buried deep in his subconscious.'
'A subconscious implant? 'Adam' planted it?'
'To do what though?'
Loki felt goosebumps rise on his skin because of the revelation that 'Adam' was implanting subconscious suggestions in the 'Hero' of the wizarding world, but before he could do anything about it he heard a glassy voice interrupt his thoughts.
"You've got a lot of Wrackspurts filled in your head again. Are you alright?" Luna asked calmly.
Loki looked at her and then softened his gaze and tried to relax his posture while thanking Luna for speaking in such cryptic terms that everyone thought she was mad.
"Haha~ Don't worry about it. I'll be fine. I'm more worried about our DADA teacher this year. You guys think there'll be someone as good as Professor Lupin this year?"
But before anyone else could respond, Luna said something else, "Professor Lupin wasn't a good professor. He was biased. Dad says he's part of a secret hidden club that thinks they're above everyone else in the world."
There was a few moments of silence before Harry almost shouted, "What! He was the best!!! Just because he was a werewolf you can't say such fowl thi-"
Ron covered his mouth and pulled him back to his seat as he whispered in his ears, "Calm down!! That's Luna Lovegood. Everyone calls her Looney Lovegood for a reason. She makes up stuff just to get attention. She has a few screws loose up there."
Loki felt his mouth sour since even though practically everyone had heard what Ron had whispered no one took a stance against him.
'Rude.'
Just as Loki was about to speak out, Luna stepped on his toe subtly as she calmly explained while looking away, "I believe the Wrackspurts have changed minds about who they want to nest in."
But in those moments, Loki out of the corner of his eye spotted something happening to the subconscious implant in Harry's body of heart and mind.
'Did it just unfurl and force his behaviour to change and agitate him?'
'Why make him agitated about Professor Lupin though?'
'Wait, did 'Adam' put it on him so he always remains loyal to him and acts as his guard dog?'
'What the heck…that's disgusting…'
