"You..." Gu Nanqiao was choked with anger, her gaze towards him growing sharper by the second, "Huo Jingting, you did that on purpose!"

"Yes." The man nodded without hesitation, not appearing to be lying at all, glancing at her sideways, "I did it on purpose. What can you do about it?"

"..."

Gu Nanqiao was driven nearly crazy by his few words, and didn't speak for a long while.

She stared at him with a gaze as sharp as a dagger. Huo Jingting, however, seemed unaffected, even appearing to be in a good mood, with a faint smile playing around his lips.

She turned her head to look out the car window, refusing to engage with him any longer.

Huo Jingting also remained silent, showing no intention of speaking to her.

Halfway through the journey, it was she who couldn't keep her cool any longer, turning back angrily to ask, "Tell me, where are you taking me?"

"Taking you out to have fun," he replied straightforwardly, without taking his eyes off the road.
