THE SOUND of Luella's sudden voice startled those that gathered around the box as they stepped back from it like they were just caught stealing.

Nanette threw a nasty look at her as she stood confidently above the stairs, looking down at them. Every time she saw Luella, there was always something that aggravated the duchess about her. 

Luella didn't need to do anything to annoy her. Just gracing her with her presence was enough to piss the woman off. It was a given hate that Luella could do nothing about.

Her eyes eyed the stacked up wrapped boxes. 'Heath, what have you done?' She muttered under her breath as she took gracious steps down the stairs like her mind was not racing with worry.

They parted way for her as she got closer to them.
