"Officer Justin, what happened? Did you get a testimony from that person? Did she see anything?"

The other officer at the scene asked Justin as soon as he finished collecting samples that had been discovered at the scene, but nothing he had would help identify the vampire who did this.

Moreover, if the culprit were a high-level vampire like in the last case, it would be suicidal to go after them.

"She said that it was a black-haired vampire who was tall. That does not help us narrow it down at all. Nor does it tell us if that person was newly turned or not. What should we do now?"

Officer Justin asked his partner.

He had been a hunter for about ten years but had not seen the high-level vampires be this active.
