Bab 50: Ch 50: There is nothing like coincidence in this world

"Lisa, what a surprise to meet you here! I was in the neighborhood because I needed to shop for something. What about you? What brings you here? Did you come to see me? That makes me happy to hear"

Emma asked in a happy voice. She sounded far too cheerful for Lisa's liking, and Lisa had no idea how she managed to run into her so early in the morning.

It was barely 06:00 a.m., and Emma was in her casual working-out clothes (they looked like that to Lisa, at least).

"Ah, it's nothing! I just had some work to do, so I came here. It is nothing big, so you don't need to worry about me."

Lisa assured the older female, but her voice did not sound as certain as her expression looked.

'Shit! I did not mean to let that voice out. I'm sure Emma would want to find out what happened now!'

Lisa looked at Emma before her, but the younger woman did not seem bothered by what had happened.
