The morning before the ceremony, where Zuri was in the middle of the preparation with two personal maids that helped her to get into her dress and styled her hair, she was informed that Sir Lorent wanted to see her.

Sir Lorent was the king's younger brother, but also his advisor, someone whom king Amidas protected to the point, he was willing to step down from his throne for. This was how Zuri made a deal with Jasmine.

Giving Jasmine an idea for her father to step down from the throne on his own, in order to get Khaos's mercy for her uncle, since Sir Lorent involved in the massacre of the old dynasty three decades ago. He should have been executed along with the other offender yesterday, but because of the deal, he managed to keep his life.
