What Zuri said was not exactly what Khaos had been planning, but it was so close. The only mistake there was; Zuri was still thinking Khaos's goal was to give Dacre a bad image in front of the public when his true goal was to strip him down from his throne.

The golden stamp was almost in his hand and the beauty blood was only a curse away from completion. More so, seeing how normal Zuri was right now, one more curse would be a walk in the garden.

However, Khaos was still not willing to put her through the ritual. He was stalling and he knew that.

"That's how you gained profit from the trading, hm?" Khaos pinched her chin and lifted her head so he could see those eyes, her black eyes sparkled in excitement. She was excited to scheme against the king.

"I am a merchant by heart." Zuri grinned.

"What if Dacre refused to buy it?" Khaos tested her. He liked to see the wickedness in her eyes.
