Rose was the epitome of a pretentious person. She spent the rest of her time, with the people, talked to them and gave them small gifts. Whether it was from her jewelry collection or simply a flower that she picked.
She would stay with children to tell them exciting story, where the children's parents would come and sit around only to listen to her story.
What she did was good to distract them from the hunger, since the food supplies were running out so quickly and people from the other city still came to ask for their share.
However, story and kindness couldn't be eaten and they needed something real to eat. Something that could stop the growling in their stomach.
The winter had come to end and at the very least, they needed to wait until a month, before ships from the other continent could dock in their port and their money could be useful to buy food.
