"Are we sharing responsibility now?" Khaos pinched her chin and lifted her head, so he could stare into her eyes.
Zuri paused for a while. She stared at him. The way she looked at him was hard to describe. Khaos didn't know what was in her head and he would love to be able to read her mind.
"I promise to help you to achieve your goal, right? I have given up my life for you. Everything. What else I will not give it to you?"
Khaos frowned, the statement didn't sound right.
"I chose to stay. I know the consequences." Zuri kissed Khaos's forehead like he used to do to her. "But, if I can turn back time. I will choose different path. I wish we never meet with each other. I wish my brother didn't put the curse on me that resulted for me to have an attachment with you. I hope things will be different."
