Bab 145: Paying with kisses

"Sometimes, you really act like a dick, you know," Lumine muttered with an annoyed tone, plopping herself onto Cassian's back. Her soft, rounded rear pressed into him, making him smirk despite her irritation.

She muttered again, her tone still grumpy, "Didn't even let me relax for a second..."

Ignoring her complaints, she started massaging his shoulders. But as soon as her hands dug in, Cassian let out an unexpected yelp. "Ahhh! Are you trying to break my bones?" he groaned, his voice strained from the sudden pain.

Lumine immediately pulled her hands back, her face flashing an apologetic look. "Sorry!" she said, genuinely flustered.

Cassian turned his head slightly and smiled faintly. "Just go easy, alright? No need to put your entire strength into it."

"Fine," she huffed, rolling her eyes before getting back to work, this time with a gentler touch.
