Bab 16: Rasengan and full recovery.

This would be the last chapter about this time skip,
the next chapter is going to start with 10yo Aki.
LET'S START THE CHAPTER

It was a day like any other for Aki, his almost robotic routine started with beating the sun by a few hours.
Summoning his shadow clones, then tidying up the room, and dismissing them Aki would go for a brush and change in clothing.
"Shadow clone jutsu"
He would then summon his clones and start training for a Rasengan until the sun caught up to him, rising over the horizon.
It was now time for breakfast, and today Haruka was home, she had been living since the prisoner incident.
"Breakfast is ready" She shouted at the boy immersed in training.
"Coming" Aki shouted back, dismissing the clones, and went to the dining table. Food was soon served, "let's dig in," Haruka said with a kind smile.
"Ittadakimasu"
Aki picked up his chopsticks and started eating.
Haruka, now 43, had retired from active duty as a ninja. Her age was starting to show, with wrinkles creeping onto her once-youthful face, yet she still maintained a dignified presence. Aki had grown accustomed to her gentle, yet firm, guidance—a stark contrast to the harsh world outside.
Getting inside an anime world and not using Ittadakimasu while eating a meal is great disrespect. It is usually the second word you would learn after 'Arigatou'.
Aki soon finished his meal and ran towards the edge of the cliff then jumped down. Yes, Aki can jump solo now, without being scared. Running on water he would find his secret training place.
"Shadow clone jutsu"
The number of clones is still seven, and they are going to practice Rasengan. Aki spent his entire day, except for meal breaks for Rasengan. But just in 2 hours, something incredible happened.
Aki had succeeded. Excitement filled his entire being as if he had just been granted a pardon.
Gurgle… gurgle… gurgle.
Aki suddenly fell into the water, losing his chakra on his feet in this moment of excitement. Aki calmed himself a little and steadied himself.
But the excitement of achieving a Rasengan wouldn't just die like this, he pumped chakra out of his feet in sheer excitement, and then like a rocket he flew till he was over the clouds.
Aki was in disbelief at his flight, but he couldn't care less about it.
A kilometer above Kumo arena, he flipped and rotated mid-air, landing successfully in the arena, there were shinobi training there but he paid them no mind and made a beeline towards Raikage's office.
"Did that kid just fly?" one of the shinobi wondered. Aki had disappeared too fast for them to register who it was.
In Raikage office.
Aki arrived and in his extreme excitement, he could not wait for Raikage's office to open and meet Ay.
(A/N: I've decided to switch to Ay for A the 4th Raikage instead. For easier identification.)
"Come in" Ay's voice came from within, prompting Aki to immediately enter.
"You look excited what happened?" Ay asked in confusion, he had assumed Aki had finally got out of his 2nd depression and had come to continue the B-rank kill mission spam.
Unaware of the big surprise about to present itself in the form of his own little Aki, Raikage was stunned at his happy and excited expression.
(A/N: Why is writing scenes filled with excitement so fun?)
"I have finally created the jutsu, I was working on for all these years" Aki's excitement was as if it was actually his own jutsu.
This was the explanation he prepared for the Rasengan reveal, after all, how else would Aki explain the knowledge of the technique known only to a select few of Konohagakure?
"Oh," Ay was intrigued and smiled in anticipation, "Show me."
Aki showed Ay his hand, and smoke started to gather and eventually turned into streams of chakra gathering at the epicenter of his palm, eventually spinning and rotating in multiple directions creating multiple spirals that when together transformed into the shape of a ball.
Rasengan is the highest level of change in chakra form with no change in nature involved and Aki had just shown Ay a demonstration.
This jutsu brought back memories of the 3rd great shinobi war. Where the 4th Hokage earned his name 'Yellow Flash of the Leaf'.
(A/N: I can't find anything about Rasengan to have been used during the 3rd Great Ninja War or not being used in the war, if someone has a reference let me know)
"I call it Human Beast Bomb, inspired by 8 tails' tailed beast bomb" Aki elaborated further, "And I want to share this jutsu with the village"
"You're a genius, Aki" Ay suddenly interrupted, "Hahahahahahaha" and started laughing like a fool.
Looking knowingly at Ay, Aki dispelled Rasengan from his hand.
After a while, Ay gathered himself, and asked Aki in a serious tone "Who else knows about this jutsu?"
"It's just you and me for now" Aki replied and added, "I've been extra careful when practicing this jutsu."
(A/N: Are we ignoring the Anbu?
Aki: Yes, Ay trusts them so we should too.
A/N: Ok then secret leaking is on you.
Aki: …)
"Tell me the training method," Ay said beating his chest, "I will say I made it; you already have enough trouble with Byakugan alone".
"Being the Raikage it isn't strange for me to do something like this, also this is called Rasengan a Jutsu first time invented by Minato the Yellow Flash of Konohagakure."
Raikage filled Aki in on the secret, smiling proud at his son's achievement, they now had both Byakugan and an A-rank jutsu with SSS+ potential.
'Of course, I know,' Aki inwardly rolled his eyes at Ay. Watching Naruto, even the ones who forget most about it, will remember 2 jutsu, Shadow Clone and Rasengan.
And being a fan it was a jutsu that's considered a must-learn among the fans.
"We're looking at an S-rank assassination mission if this secret is leaked." Ay continued elaborating on how high-risk this endeavor is.
Aki does not hesitate to spill the beans, he is in Kumogakure, Minato is dead and Jiraiya's whereabouts are unknown. Hiruzen won't come, the only trouble is Danzo from the leaf village at the current time.
The assassination and eye-snatching attempt a few years ago must also be one of his plots. If Hisashi deserves to die, Danzo deserves it even more.
Now let's turn the clock back to the present.
~~ Present (10 years old Aki) ~~
In the past year and a half, Aki had tried to replicate the flight he accidentally performed during that moment of excitement, but it always ended in failure.
(A/N: Legend has it, he's still wondering why)
Today was just another day for Aki. 'Kumo is the best,' he recited like usual, starting his daily routine. Having recovered fully, Haruka no longer felt obligated to watch over him constantly. But Aki still made it a point to visit her whenever he was in the village.
After his morning training and breakfast, Aki headed over to Haruka's house. It was a small, traditional Japanese-style home, cozy and filled with memories. Haruka had retired, but she still enjoyed the company of her grandchildren, who were now toddlers.
Aki entered the house and called out, "Haruka-baachan, I'm here!"
From the kitchen, Haruka's voice called back, "In here, Aki. Come, help me with these little rascals."
Aki smiled as he walked in, finding Haruka busy trying to corral her mischievous grandchildren. The two little ones, a boy and a girl, were running around the room, laughing and playing.
"Ah, Aki!" the boy exclaimed, spotting him first. He ran up and hugged Aki's leg, looking up at him with bright, adoring eyes.
The girl followed suit, clinging to Aki's other leg. "Aki-nii, play with us!"
Haruka chuckled softly, wiping her hands on her apron. "They've been waiting for you all morning, you know. They missed their favorite playmate."
Aki grinned, bending down to their eye level. "All right, all right. What do you want to play today?"
The boy pointed towards the backyard. "Ninja training!"
Aki laughed and led them outside. "Okay, let's see what you've got."
As the children ran around, practicing their "ninja" moves under Aki's guidance, Haruka stepped back inside to prepare some tea. She couldn't help but smile, thinking of how much Aki had grown.
Aki spent the rest of the morning playing with the kids, helping them with basic ninja exercises, though most of it was just pretend. Afterward, he joined Haruka inside for tea, enjoying the peaceful moments of normalcy that were so rare in his life.
"Thank you for looking out for me, Haruka-baachan," Aki said as he sipped his tea.
Haruka smiled, reaching out to pat his hand. "You're like a son to me, Aki. I'll always be here for you."
Aki felt gratitude to Haruka, but it was time to leave saying goodbye, "Sayonara Haruka-baachan," he left the house.
Navigating twists and turns of the street, Aki reached the shop, where he would be receiving Fuinjutsu training from Kaela today.
