All because I had been spoilt by the love and care of my family and the other members of our little pack.

Our small but peaceful pack had been thriving under the leadership of my father, Alpha Blake Krimson, until the ominous arrival of the Dawn Wood pack at our borders. It was a day etched into my memory, a day that marked the beginning of a nightmare.

Alpha Keith, the ruthless leader of Dawn Wood, had challenged my father to a brutal battle for control of our territory. My father had been a peaceful Alpha, someone who didn’t like to engage in battles, and he had known well that he would be defeated, but still, he had accepted the battle because it had been one fleeting chance to save our pack from the invaders.
