"And why should I apologise?" The woman snapped angrily in a voice that was hardly breathless, but almost didn't sound like that of a woman.

It was a girl's voice, Marcus realized.

He raised an eyebrow, his amusement wiped off and nowhere to be found. Of all the discoveries in the world, that definitely was a new one.

His eyes appraised the 'woman'; from the dainty silk that she wore, to the way her neckline was exposed as if she was beckoning on a man to bite and take her. She only reached her chest which was quite tall for a woman, but seeing as she was not one in the first place, Marcus became interested in why on earth a girl was in such a place like this.

And not any girl, but one who cosplayed like a damn woman way too well.
