When Daemon had first kissed Zina WolfKnight, he wasn't possessed by her stunning beauty, her beautiful eyes, or her perpetual sense braveness she always bore before him. No, he was clear headed. He had simply wanted to kiss her for the play of it.

But after that first, seemingly innocent kiss, that which Daemon thought was a game turned into a dangerous gamble. And it was then that he knew it… just knew it that he shouldn't be kissing Zina WolfKnight for any reason. 

But her eyes had been pressed shut like someone who was anticipating a great reveal, and Daemon had been unable to shrug off the unmistakable urge to be the man who would show her this great reveal.
