"She's certainly crazy to an extent, that one from the First Research Institute. I've heard she's been quietly studying honkai-infected subjects. Give her some time to settle down.

Orion had always been a hidden, unpredictable force. His power was a valuable asset, but one that came with risk. MOTH had considered his potential, exploring ways to harness his strength. Yet, in the face of a greater crisis, the possibility arose that this volatile power might have to be built along with him.
For MOTH, an ideal outcome would be one where both Orion and the Second Herrscher were neutralized.
If both could fall, it would mean a safer future. But if only one could be stopped, the organization knew they'd face a steep cost in containing the other.
It was a tough decision, weighed carefully and coldly. The politicians analyzed it all—the risk and reward—as they often did, their view of life more calculating than most could imagine.
"When you reach the target, get ready to engage!"
The clear, firm command echoed through the soldiers' helmets as each braced themselves. They were equipped with signal receivers for immediate communication, ensuring orders reached them without delay.
The helicopter steadied as it hovered, a chilly gust blowing in from the side, signaling the drop point was near. The cabin door slid open, and brilliant white light flooded the interior, momentarily blinding them as it poured in.
"Everyone, jump!"
Without a second thought, the soldiers leaped one by one, each bearing a small black pack strapped securely to their backs. They descended into the bright unknown below, prepared for the task ahead.
Guns and other weapons popped out from the packs, and parachutes cleverly deployed from them, slowing their descent.
Orion watched the soldiers' movements closely and quickly got the hang of it. He stood at the hatch, took a deep breath, and jumped.
Before jumping, he caught Destobia looking at him.
The cold wind rushed past Orion Astra, reminding him of the snowy plains he'd seen many times on Jarilo-VI. But he wasn't tired of it.
"Honkai, here I come."
Soldiers in black uniforms parachuted into the snow-covered field below.

"You're here to take my badge? Why so suddenly?" Mobius asked, her voice cool yet curious.
She stood in front of a sleek medical chair, her long, light green hair loosely tied back, a bit unruly from hours spent deep in thought. A hint of impatience flickered in her eyes.
In the chair sat an ordinary soldier from MOTH, looking pale and weary, as if he'd been worn down over countless sleepless nights. His breathing was shallow, and a slight sheen of sweat dotted his forehead.
Recently, more and more people like him had been showing interest in her research, and as she was close to another breakthrough, she had even less patience than normal, especially being interrupted by something as small as badge issues.
"And... do you really need a gas mask in here? This is a lab, not a chemical zone," she noted dryly, glancing at the stranger's gear. "What department are you from? Are you new here?
The person who entered was fully suited up, not showing any skin. It looked funny, but people who knew this place understood it took courage to step inside.
"Well... since the badge system changed, the numbered badges are being collected. The new ones won't have numbers."
"And the gas mask... well, better safe than sorry, doctor."

The "Doctor" looked the stranger up and down but couldn't figure out much.
"Fine, I get it."
She didn't question it further.
She walked to her desk, opening drawer after drawer, searching for the badge. After sifting through nineteen notices, she finally found the badge with the number "1" on the back and handed it over.
"Thank you, Dr. Mobius."
"Your new badge will be delivered to your lab within the week."
"Wait."
Just as the person turned to leave, Mobius called out.
"Don't think I don't know."
The person froze, turning back with a cautious look. "Doctor, what do you mean?"
Mobius's expression was unreadable. "I know you've all been trying to keep me here. Finding reasons to keep me in the lab, making sure I don't step outside...
She paused, letting the silence hang. "But I don't need to be out there to understand what's happening."
"…"
"So, tell me—how's the fight with the Second Herrscher?"
The person shifted uncomfortably before finally answering, "Ah, so that's what you were wondering about, Doctor."
She hesitated. "The situation... it isn't looking good. But this setback is just temporary."
"Really? Are you serious?"
"Absolutely. From what I've heard, a strong, smart, and incredibly talented young woman just joined MOTH. I think she's exactly what we need to help handle this Honkai situation."
"Where is she now?" she asked, curiosity sparking in her eyes.
"Let me think... she's likely getting her badge right now. And not just any badge—a special one. She's earned it, after all. This upcoming mission will be her big debut," the person in the hazmat suit replied.
"Don't worry; she'll be right on the front lines, ready to prove herself."
"I promise."
