Wang Lu that had been dragged back enjoyed the medical treatment, and his injuries healed, but he was mentally exhausted. He continued to sleep in the tub, and only woke up after the sun had been up for a few hours.
Standing from the medical tub, he had already been told he didn't need to go fighting the monsters anymore. Looking outside he didn't spot any presence of Yue Li, but this didn't bother him.
He just suddenly remembered the stench that was around him.
Due the current state he had been living in for the past three months, he had almost become like a zombie. The sleep he had seemed to have halped him recover his spirit, but that was not all.
The fact he had completed the combat training was also a relief. He didn't think that it could become such a dark moment in his life. When he thought about those shards that kept sticking him all the time crushing not just his bones but muscles, tears Welled up in his eyes.
He almost thought he was going to die in this residence. He kept telling himself he should stay as further away from his grandparents in the future as possible. The two old people had clearly traumatized his fragile little heart.
But then again, looking at the stench coming from the tub, he couldn't help but remember the vague feelings he had got at the moment. His muscles had been vibrating differently from the bones and internal organs.
The end result somehow that his body ended up pushing the impurities out, he felt totally different. He couldn't even believe his body could be so light. Even his senses had been magnified several times.
It was also this that allowed him too see just how gross the water in the medical tub looked. It was even far worse and smelled bad compared to anything he had ever smelled in his two lifetimes.
He didn't bother to seek anything to cover his nose, but walked towards the tub, and lifted it even with the foul smell and took it outside.
He didn't even think twice as he dragged the tub to the back of the residence.
"This smell should take long to be eradicated, but it's it shouldn't be a big problem considering no one visits this place often. Perhaps in a week or two it would no longer be a big issue." Wang Lu thought, to himself.
He put down the tub, before pushing one side as though to topple it and the water that resembled sewage, was poured into the bamboo trees at the back of the house.
What he didn't know was that the stench was so unbearable it made Yue Lo I leave early. She couldn't stand it, but this didn't concern Wang Lu. After pouring all the water with impurities, he turned towards the stream.
He had to also clean himself, the stench wasn't attached on him, but he still didn't feel had about cleaning up. He took the tub along.

On a high mountain cliff, to old men were sitting opposite each other. If one looked closely, they would discover it was Wang Chengshan and another old Wang clan member.
Before then was a chess board, they kept silent and played. The whole place was silent and serene, and thier placing of pieces on the board would be what causes the sound to appear.
Finally the man sitting opposite Wang Chengshan placed his piece, and asked, "What do you want?"
Wang Chengshan kept looking at the board and only after placing the piece did he turn to face the old man, "Did you really need to ask? Why do I have a feeling you were expecting me to come up you?"
The old man had an ackward laugh.
"Life is really unpredictable! Who could have know you Chengshan of all people would end married and even start a family. I once thought you were the most carefree of us all. But then again! I envy you of all people. Despite having a family, you still have been able to walk ahead of us. It seems that in just a few decades you might take another step ahead right?" The man spoke with some envy.
"Why did you bring up this all of a sudden?" Wang Chengshan asked.
"Isn't it obvious. You are among the few of us that got yourself a family, but even so still didn't get left behind. The same can't be said about us. After all at this point we have reached, external help is no longer useful. But your grandson seemed to have made some contributions, I already feel the effects. You don't have to worry. Even if you didn't take initiative to ask, someone else would do it." The man spoke without even filtering his words.
Wang Chengshan however was able to understand the man's words.
He also felt slightly relieved, before he felt the man speak again. "The general trend of the world is rising! You should also prepare your grand child! This chance was not present in our time, but it was also our luck. After all we might have been the stepping stones for others to rise."

Back to Wang Lu!
He was feeling very refreshed. He started to train alone in the courtyard by throwing punches. His feet were rooted on the ground, as he punched foward. His movements began slow and then faster, it was even becoming blurry.
When he slowed down, the speed of his punches seemed boring enough to make those watching go to sleep.
But he didn't stop and as he threw out punches, he even realized they didn't make any sound compared to before.
It was as though his movements had been hidden, but he felt that the power behind this movements couldn't be underestimated.
He continued to practice until he was tired and switched to the saber, and suprisingly, the saber was being used the same way he did his boxing.
He started off slowly, then it become so fast and the leaves falling from the courtyard, become his target.
But he didn't move, and his saber was hurled foward, it flashed by faster, and after every leaf it savered, it seemed to have its trajectory affected somehow until it turned heading back his direction.
He moved his fingers, taping the tip of the saber, and making it shift direction as his arm grasped onto the hilt. But the bamboo saber had already reached its limits. He could see cracks everywhere.
"It seems the bamboo saber has outlived its usefulness. Let's leave it behind in this garden." As he spoke, he stuck the bamboo saber into the middle of the plain field.
His figure then sat down, taking a carrot from his sleaves. He kept munching on it as he looked into the sky.
"When did that witch say she was coming back again?" He felt a sense of loss! But he quickly crushed this feeling.
