Looking at the hostile intent shrouding him, he already knew he had been discovered.
"This grandmother of mine doesn't play by common sense. She really just sent me to the lion's den without a second thought." Off course he was complaining inwardly.
He was not foolish enough to say this out loud. Who knew if they were watching him.
As he was complaining, his senses didn't even falter in the slightest, as he felt a movement behind him. He didn't even hesitate and rushed forward, before turning at an angle with an eagle like grab.
He could already see a massive creature five times his size. It was growling at him and had dark red eyes. It was as though he had killed all it's relatives, but he didn't have the time to think about this.
He kept his eyes on the creature the whole time, his palm that touched its head propelled him to retreat more than ten meters away.
He looked at the creature, then turned up to give a quick glance behind him.
The aura on the creature was the same as what he had felt in the distance, but he felt this massive goat like creature had an even more dense aura.
He was shaking, but his eyes remained unwavering. He had felt even more pain and the process of practicing to this point wasn't easy. How could be easily fold just from the aura of the beast. What was even worse was that it was a goat. If others learned about this, where would his face go?
He straightened his back and slapped his shaking thighs. He could feel the aura of death, but his eyes turned sharp.
It was as though they had locked eyes with the creature, before he vanished on the spot. His figure was fast, and appeared to it's left, unleashing the Unbounded Fist.
Pu!
The sound almost came out like he had punched cotton, but the beast retreated to the right. He retreated further, but could see its anger had flared up.
"Damn! This goat even has face? I just struck you on the neck, why are you acting like I slapped the hell out of you." As he complained, just figure didn't stop.
But he also didn't retreat towards the region he felt an aura similar to the creature. He wasn't that stupid.
The creature roared angrily as it stomped the hind legs.
"What the hell? Why is this goat acting like a cow?" He didn't slow down at all and struck towards the head this time.
When his attack was just about to land, he heard a movement aimed at him, it was coming faster than the goat creature.
Swish!
Feeling the movement in the air, he turned his body forcefully to the right and his legs landed on the goats left eye.
He then forcefully stomped on it, and the resulting situation was even more impactful than before. But his body quickly shuttled through towards the nearby bush and hid.
"Damn! What the hell is with the sneak attack now? Don't tell me that that woman has also put herself in the mix. No! She is too strong for me to evade her attack! It can only be someone else." He thought as he looked around wearily.
Hidden in the sky, Mei Lin was holding onto some stone shard. She kept playing with it in her hand.
"I thought you wanted to let our grandson come in contact with some secrets early and test his combat and will? Why did you interfere just now?" Wang Chengshan was helpless as he looked at his wife's mischievous expression.
She said, " Don't you find that our grandson adopted quite quickly to the malevolent aura as well as killing intent from this little demon Half-step away from the master stage! Since that is the case, why not make things slightly interesting."
"Isn't that a good thing?" He asked her with a helpless look.
"Off course it's a good thing! Out grandson being naturally gifted is a good thing, but I think he shouldn't have it easy. After all I wasn't sending him into this space so that he could enjoy himself. It's not a bad deal to have some broken bones and fractured limbs. Besides, I just used the force of a perfect body refinement expert in that shard just now! I'm indeed also starting to think it was not good enough." She spoke with a smile.
"Cough! Cough! Cough!" He coughed three times as if to stop her, but she acted oblivious.
"Why are you coughing so violently. Don't tell me you have a cold." Hearing what she had just said, he rolled his eyes at her. It was as though he was saying, 'Someone at my cultivation level cal also catch a cold. Pease!'
"What are you whining about? My grandson definitely takes after me! After all he is someone with a heart that embraces the heavens!" She spoke proudly, as the shard in her hand was thrust towards the bush that Wang Lu was hidden.
Wang Chengshan felt some fear when he felt the might of that shard that has been thrust forward. That shard's power was infinitely closer to the level of a master. Even the goat that Wang Lu was fighting couldn't take it and walk off as if nothing happened.
Wang Lu 's intuition was warning him and he jumped aside fast, but the shard still scrapped off his shoulder.
He had the urge to curse right now, considering that his previous fear had become real. He was facing more than one problem. What was even more scary was the fact that the attack this time seemed stronger. He could tell, it was stronger by a lot.
Listening to the sound of the goat coming his direction, he started to think of a way out of this, but he couldn't see any.
He had to deal with the goat, but he was even more wary of the attacks coming towards him from the bushes.
He looked the area the shard had fallen and could see utter devastation. The ground had been decimated for a few meters, and the pain from his shoulder just returned him to reality.
