For a moment, silence fell over the group. The weight of the revelation hung heavy in the air, each person grappling with their thoughts.

Jaxon mind swirled with memories long buried. He could now understand why Orion was forbidden from leaving the estate back then.

The Montclair name had been a curse, whispered in hushed tones and avoided to be mentioned across the empire.

Now knowing that the little boy who had followed him around the Whittemore estate all those years ago was a Montclair was almost unfathomable.

But, Jaxon, was now more than grateful that he'd helped Izan in the investigation, even if his role had been minor. Because of their efforts, Orion could finally see the world he had once only dreamed of.
