Bab 41: Family History

Ronan's heart ached as he heard Sophia's hysterical cries, her voice trembling as the strange man with purple eyes continued his ritual. Who the hell was this guy, anyway? Ronan had never seen him before.

[Evil!] his wolf growled within him.

[What? Are you talking trash about me again]? Ronan barked back, frustrated.

[No, idiot. I'm talking about that guy who's about to banish us to some unknown land. Also known as your motherland].

[Damn it], Ronan thought. He realized the truth—he was to be banished by Alpha Jeremiah, and the purple-eyed asshole was the one helping him.

"Get me out of here! This is insane. Once I break free from these chains, you'll regret ever crossing me!" Ronan roared, his voice filled with rage.

"Don't be an arrogant fool, Ronan," Alpha Jeremiah responded with a mocking laugh. "You'll never escape those chains. They're made of holy iron. You're doomed."
