Bab 22: Phantoms in the Ivy

Avery Chen felt exposed and vulnerable when she discovered the hidden camera in her office. That night, her mind raced with possibilities and paranoia, keeping her from falling asleep. By dawn, she decided it was time to go on the offensive.

Avery gathered her friends at a small café outside of campus, a place they had checked for bugs. As Avery talked about the day before, Lucas, Damien, Elena, and Detective Harper sat around a scratched-up wooden table, all of them with grim expressions on their faces.

Damien, narrowing his eyes, mused, "So we're dealing with a new player. One with reach and resources we've never seen before."

Lucas nodded, his hand instinctively reaching for Avery's. "What do they want? That begs the question. And how can we stop them?"
