The purified essence merged into the cells and soul of the duo, increasing their rank and bond.
Muwi glowed and closed his eyes, from his back the three tails merged into one, then split into two and then four, he opened his eyes in joy and looked at his tails.
After the iron apostle dropped it's loot, John calmly walked towards it, still feeling the slight pain and numbness coming from his right hand, the blow he threw with aura deeply damaged his hand.
He looked at it and pursed his lips: 'If my own aura remains still slow down my regeneration, it's highly likely that the attack of someone with aura can block my regeneration, i must be careful.' John made up his mind to pay attention to that.
On the ground, two set of items layed down, a block of special iron and a pair of iron gloves, John squatted and stored them into his inventory.
"Let's go, Muwi, we need to go on the surface." John got tired of staying underground and seeing Muwi eagerly jump in his shoulder, the Biwu thought the same.
With a quick look around, and on the mini map, John found no other interesting thing or loot, the iron blocks of before got absorbed by the iron apostle so now they didn't have anything valuable apart from the loot.
John looked upwards and with a light jump he leaped on the upper floor, and with a light tap on the air he jumped even higher, he was using his new strength and control to jump through the air with raw strength.
Jump.
After fighting the golem in a gruesome battle, and with the absorption of the iron apostle purified essence, He and Muwi got exponentially stronger since they are bound.
So their current base strength settled comfortably at the beginning of A rank and by enchanting their bodies with essence they can reach the middle stage, if John uses his Eclipse Series, he can reach the high stage.
Jump.
With aura? Well, it's a power that he still can't master for now, so he can't activate it at will, but if he manages to activate it, he can tap into the peak stage.
So each rank is divided into four stages.

Middle
High
Peak
John looked down to the holes that he made while fighting with the golem, seeing the insides of the dungeon destroyed beyond repair: 'It was fun.'
Jump.
He smiled at the experience he acquired today, but that happiness didn't last as he noticed his armor, or what remained of it.
The chest plate was nowhere to be seen along with the arms and helmet, well, the entire upper armor got destroyed during the exange with blows.
Jump.
John looked at his lower body and signed at the bad state of what remained of it: 'What a pain in the ass, at least the armor did it's job.'
With a last kick, John came on the top floor where the entrance of the dungeon should be, he landed on the ground and observed the place.
With broken walls and monsters loot around, he walked with Muwi on his shoulder enjoying his lazyness without shame, after walking for some minutes John came in front of some stairs thanks to the map.
He walked them and after some seconds he pressed a pedane on the stair, causing an arrow to fly towards him at high speeds, the two looked at it coming towards them like a snail and ignored it.
The arrow broke the moment it came in contact with a tail of Muwi.
After some time the two saw some light, the stairs came from a hidden cave inside the massive Nuki forest, the two continued along their path and came came out of the cave.
"So this is the Nuki forest.." John spoke while looking at the massive trees and abundant fauna and flora around, the animals here were more stronger but also better in quality.
"Yeah, the boundless forest that is at the border of the kingdom, and at the center of the continent, it is said that no one has ever exploded more than the 5% of it, we didn't even explore the outer layer." Muwi explained.
This brought John interest: "Oh? Not even the EX rank beings?" Muwi shook his head: "Nah, the more we go inside, more the essence is aboundant, but this causes the strength of the beings inside to increase exponentially, especially the monsters."
"Many have tried to explore more, but the greedy ones disappeared soon after, maybe eaten by a plant? Who knows."
John smiled and didn't say much more: 'This shit is clicke.' he was amused, this was a famous trope of his past world, the big and mysterious forest.
The two walked forward towards the West, where the goblin settlement should be, thanks to the map John knows that they traversed a good distance from where they begun mining.
It was currently sunrise so the two took their time enjoying the walk, thanks to the upgrade in rank, their stamina got reset thus they don't need to sleep for now.
Rustle
Muwi picked some movement hundreds of meter away, well there was movement everywhere but with his enchanted senses he could feel that this movement was directed to them.
"Do you feel it?" Muwi asked while growing to the size of an adult wolf, John nodded and took out a crafting table: "The feeling of being watched? Yeah."
Suddenly the entity hundreds of meters away moved and appeared in front of John with it's jaw open showing many razor sharp teeth.
John simply used the table as a weapon and sent the tiger flying with Muwi immediately following suit by creating a big fire paw behind tiger, catching it mid air.

The Tiger moved it's pawn unleashing 34 slashes at the fire paw, dispersing the fire temporarily and falling down baring it's teeth.
John smiled and Jumped while kicking the air, immediately gaining a burst of speed and with the table in his hand he threw it at the Tiger.
But the feline did something that surprised the duo, the monster kicked the air and dodged the attack, the move was familiar.
"Did he just try to imitate my technique?" John spoke surprised while Muwi already appeared behind the Tiger leaving these words:
"Leave it to me!"
