Bab 9: A Doomed world
As Kane began to understand his powers he began to wonder if there was more to the universe and in his attempts of finding purpose in the early days of nod he discovered in his memories the multiverse theory, a theory that is a highly debated matter by psychists and others it was this that spawned many numerous fictions of sci fi and fantasy through this Kane wanted to understand reality at large through hard work along with patience Kane began to unravel mysteries in his building of the brotherhood.
He started with seeing space not the kind one can see when looking out the stars but the space between everything it was this little scarp that Kane built his church so to speak he made a device capable of launching a human fast enough and compressed enough to break boundaries of reality though even in Kanes mind this idea was primitive and hardly impressive.
With this done Kane donned his armour and began his travel with all said and done in this world Kane began his journey, he flew through the void like little spec seeing all manner of things from mech suits and space ships to Viking longships encased in runes, a frozen Hagrid and more all manner of things but that's when his speed slowed down and he was sucked into a portal that tor opened and pulled him back into the psychical realm.
And with his back he noticed immediately that this world he was in was dying he could feel his tiberuim suit fighting off all manner of virous both pathogens and those malware that all around him in hidden data clusters left haphazardly like a mine field the worlds radiation level was at a staggering 6.7 globally that's almost like standing in same building as reactor number 4 in Chernobyl but globally.
This prompted Kane to interact with the internet though a heavily morphed version of it he began to understand why this world was the way it is, simple answer was capitalism on extreme mode then injected with complete and utter power trip.
Not only had corporations been able to gain a private military force but were also capable of globally influencing any country and though this there had been 4 wars over certain companies trying to taken over then hiring military corps which escalated into full on warfare while governments were to weak and corrupt to be able to do anything meaningful actions.
Such as the 4th corporate war in where the biggest and maddest of the Corps fought Miltech and Arasaka one based in the USA and the other one Araska in Japan both had massive militaries that supported coups regime changes and doctorships employees had no right and ethical experiments were always prevalent and such was human life so cheap in this universe that even the horrors of biological weapons were used and let alone war crimes these 2 companies that were business had hold over billions of people and Araska in a conflict made self replicating mines for the ocean and when they went rough the seas that were once safe became a harrowing this were a mine the size of phone had enough power to crack ships in half or Miltech who used a bio phage in Chicago killing 100s of thousands.
And as Kane but his hand on his and said aloud " This place is fucking doomed"
