Turai and Gareth pushed forward, closing in on the advancing army with each step. They moved swiftly but cautiously, weaving through the rocky landscape to maintain their cover.

Their mission was still to observe and report the movements of the Lehzin army, but something gnawed at Turai.

As if on cue, the communication orb they carried buzzed to life, glowing with an urgent light. Gareth retrieved it from his pouch, and Director Ashline's voice resonated from the orb, his tone sharp and laced with concern.

"Get out of there, now! There's an imminent attack coming your way," Ashline warned. "You've got no time. Evacuate immediately!"

Turai and Gareth exchanged a quick glance, the weight of the message sinking in. If Ashline was this alarmed, the attack wasn't just dangerous—it was potentially catastrophic.
