When the sealed container on the table was opened, ground coffee beans appeared, and the scent of the beans spread through the reception room.

"This is roasted coffee beans."

"Ah, it smells wonderful."

William inhaled deeply, looking enchanted. Coffee has a wide range of preferences when it comes to taste, but few people dislike its aroma. Used grounds can be dried and repurposed for various uses, like deodorizing cigarettes or toilets, or as a pest repellent in wardrobes. Since both Mariel and Air, as well as William, liked the smell, it seemed likely that many people in this other world would enjoy it too.

"Mariel, please brew it with the hot water from the thermos today."

"Of course, Master."

"Coffee pairs well with snacks, so it might be good to prepare something to nibble on."
