"Thanks for watching me," Fred said, staring into Diana's eyes.
"I don't understand you. There is so much to know about you," Diana replied, returning his gaze.
"Diana, what we did…" Fred began.
"Don't. I chose to do so. You should be happy, Slayer, or are you not satisfied?" Diana put a hand on his lips.
"In this life, I have battled and fought against many creatures, including incubi and succubi. I also gained some characteristics and abilities from my fallen opponents. You might have done what you did because of my crazy pheromones," Fred explained.
"You sound as if you didn't want it?" Diana asked, her expression annoyed and her tone tinged with hurt.
"Are you kidding me? I didn't even know I could do that until... now," Fred said.
"Was that your first experience?" Diana asked with a cocky smile.
"…Maybe. But you understand what I am saying, right?" Fred asked as Diana leaned forward.
"This is awkward. I should have never mentioned it," Fred said, steeling himself for Diana's response.
"You could have kept that to yourself, but you let me know, and I like that honesty and transparency, Slayer. That's more than I can say for most. Or maybe that pheromone of yours works too well, even on a god, for me to agree." Diana paused, her eyes thoughtful. "And I still chose. Is that why Athena and… I see."
"Have you explored outside the island yet? Have you interacted with the world?" Fred asked.
"Not yet. Do you want me to leave to confirm what you were saying?" Diana looked at the ceiling, realizing the real question behind his words.
"Who knows," Fred said, taking a deep breath.
"Are you used to being alone?" Diana asked, observing Fred's expression.
That question took Fred back to his transfer to hell and the many years he wandered around, understanding his capabilities, his near-endless fights, captures he allowed just so he could learn more techniques but more importantly any leads on a way out of that place.
He remembered the deal he had to make just to make it out of hell and wondered how Diana would take it, but he didn't have to let her know… at least for now.
"You don't give yourself enough credit, Slayer. The way you brood looks… sexy. Your eyes glow a brighter golden and dim in such an enchanting way. What's more? There's much I don't know about you." Diana smiled and kissed Fred on the cheek.
"Let me try sleeping again," Fred said as he spooned Diana and tried not to overthink the future.

Morning
Morning came, and Diana informed Queen Hippolyta about her decision to leave for the world of men.
This time Queen Hippolyta did nothing to stop her. With the bold invasion of demons on the island claiming the lives of so many Amazons and in other parts of the world and Hades, it was only logical to let her investigate the matter.
Fred hovered high above the island, waving Diana off with a smile. As soon as she left with a sonic boom, Fred's smile turned upside down.
'Isn't Draco done with the takeover already? Doesn't he know about some demons escaping into the material realm?' Fred thought but noticed Queen Hippolyta waving at him below as his body appeared before her.
The rest of the amazons were busy cleaning up waste from last night's festive activities and rearranging the island. Some began working on different projects, the border commanders had to reorganize their squads since their numbers went down drastically in one night.
"How long will you be staying, Slayer?" Hippolyta asked.
"Oh, I didn't know I had already outstayed my welcome?" Fred smiled as he walked with the queen of the Amazons.
"So, will I be a grandma soon or what?" Hippolyta asked, causing the Slayer to do a double-take at that question.
'I keep forgetting that Amazons can be very direct and don't beat about the bush,' Fred thought, nervously chuckling to himself.
"Why ask a stranger such questions? Do you even know me?" the Slayer asked casually as dark clouds gathered above.
"Oh, I know you." Queen Hippolyta stopped to face the Slayer, who returned her gaze.
"You remember that drink I gave you?" Queen Hippolyta asked.
The Slayer looked within himself quickly for any seals, bindings, or toxins he might not have noticed but didn't find anything and was about to sigh in relief until he remembered something.
'Your soul is in your keeping now…'
The Slayer's eyes slowly turned white, regretting the consequences of the actions he would take. After destroying the Amazons, he would have the Greek Pantheon to face, and he had just gotten to know Diana.
"It's a pity…" the Slayer said solemnly, waiting for the last words of the queen of the Amazons.
"You know that drink was made by the goddess Aphrodite with much difficulty. It's a very strong aphrodisiac for divines. When I was with Ares, he could only take a small amount of it in a day and would go on for months… with breaks, of course. He couldn't take more or he would just pass out on the bed," Hippolyta said with a blush on her face.
"What?" Fred asked, thrown off again by the queen of the Amazons. His eyes slowly turned golden after that, but the bewilderment on his face was clear.
Hippolyta, lost in her memories, kept sharing without pause. "But you! You asked for more and didn't stop! I thought you would take on all the women on the island last night! You must be really strong; your title surely isn't for laughs."
"But still, I don't know why I am even sharing this much with you or being so carefree around you as if I have known you for a long time. You are welcome to stay for as long as you want, Slayer." The queen said and left to attend to her subjects.
Fred just stood there, utterly flabbergasted, shaken but not stirred.
"HAHA!" Fred couldn't help but laugh at that and went to his guest room after an Amazon informed him about breakfast.
