Bab 81: We Meet Again

Nightfall.

The full moon casts its light onto an abandoned school on the outskirts of Shenzhen.

Bobby and I stood in the middle of the assembly area where school kids would have gathered for the flag-raising ceremony every morning.

The rope of the flagpole in front of the stage area hit the pole, making clanking sounds when it swayed with the wind blowing.

This made Bobby nervous, and the cigarette in his mouth started to wobble up and down.

I pretended to be calm, but my heart pounded louder and louder.

Couldn't help it; scenes of what Iron Fingers Lee can do kept flashing in my mind as we waited.

"Sam, if there's any sign those old farts can't subdue Iron Fingers Lee, we better make a run for it," Bobby said, looking at me with a serious expression.

"You see that path over there; I looked when we arrived, it leads to the hills at the back. We can run and hide in the hills if we need to."
