All of us notice that something was really off in this city. The people are not afraid of us. They are afraid of someone.

I already knew who that person is. Li Jin stood next to me. "Have you sent secret spies to check the situation?" I whispered as low as I could.

"I did. The emperor consort said the same thing. That's why I don't have to explain and wait much longer. After all, I want to know about the city lord's secret. My instinct bothers me about that man and his two sons," he replied. I feel the same way.

"We have to be vigilant. This is their territory. We must protect the empress and emperor consort," I mumbled. Li Jin nodded.

The two of us notice the shadow from afar. We saw a teen who seems to be peaking. He turned pale when he realized that we're staring at him.

He realizes that we notice his presence. I can see how scared he was. Li Jin and I ran and did our best to capture the young man.
