Song Jialun's POV

I heard everything that she says. Lady Cai Lin was worried that we did something beyond the morals of life.

She was a woman, and this will ruin her life completely. I have to do something and made a decision myself as soon as I wake up.

I continue watching her as she eats the breakfast that Auntie prepared for us. She raises her head and looks at me.

"May I suggest for you to stop staring at me, Lord Song? It's making me anxious," she says. I put down my chopstick.

"Continue eating," I remarked.

I stood up and grabbed my sword that I saw. I've been looking for that but didn't realize that it was kicked out under the bed.

I was taken aback when I saw the blood in the bedding. I remember everything that happened last night. I look at her again.

"I have to man up. I did this, and maybe this is what I need…" I whispered to myself. I went back and placed my sword on my left side.
