I haven't slept yet. I just close my eyes, trying to fall asleep, but I can hear them loud and clear. I opened my eyes when I heard that man's laughter.

He was clearly insulting Li Jin. I get up grab the last piece of my hairpins and get close to him.

He turned pale when he saw the edge of the hairpin too close. The tip is just an inch away from his eyes.

"You know what I hate the most. It's when someone laughs when I'm in a bad mood. You know what kind of empress I am, right? Try to guess what kind of poison this hairpin had…" I whispered. He tried to turn his head, but I held his face.

"GUESS!" I roared.

"I don't know!" he screams in fear.

I move it closer, making him panic. He can move his eyes and speak, but his entire body is paralyzed.

"Spare me! Spare me! I'm just following their orders!" he cries, begging in a loud scream.
