Bab 27: Control yourself...

"Mom, I thought you were still at the hospital. Sorry, I was outside. Do you want to rest here tonight? I can go back to the hospital and stay with Dad," Hyun Soo suggested as he walked into the living room.

Park Jiwoo looked at him with a mix of concern and determination. "Hyun Soo, sit down. We need to talk," she said, motioning to the chair across from her.

He hesitated for a moment, sensing the seriousness in her tone, but then took a seat. 

"I'll need to step in for your father at work while he recovers. The company's responsibilities can't be ignored," Park Jiwoo began, her voice firm. "But more than that, your father and I have been thinking... It might be best if you go to the USA for your higher studies."

Hyun Soo's eyes widened in surprise. "Did Dad ask you to say this? I've already told him I don't want to study abroad. I'm staying here, in my own country."
